Breakroom service in Riverdale
Riverdale sits in western Clayton County just south of Hartsfield-Jackson, and city leaders count it as part of the airport's Aerotropolis economy, targeting logistics, hospitality and business services. The largest workplace is Southern Regional Medical Center on Upper Riverdale Road, a 331-bed hospital opened in 1971 with a Level III neonatal unit, a certified stroke center and a busy emergency department. Highway 85 is the main commercial corridor and one of the most heavily traveled roads in the region, with State Routes 138 and 139 crossing town and I-75 just to the northeast. With SPLOST funding, the city is building a mixed-use Town Center, a new administration building and a sports complex.
Hospital work drives the breakroom picture here. Nurses, techs and support staff on 12-hour shifts need real food at 2 a.m., and visitors and patients' families fill shared spaces at every hour. An AI smart cooler works well in those settings because it unlocks with a card tap, charges automatically and stays locked until someone pays. Medical offices around the hospital, airport-related businesses and retail along Highway 85 can choose from micro markets, fresh food vending, office coffee and pantry programs, depending on staff size and how the space is used.
VendGO is locally owned, based in Alpharetta, and runs regular routes into Clayton County. There is no cost for equipment, installation or service and no long-term contract, just month-to-month service with a two-month trial for new locations. We respond to service calls within two hours. Employees can request products by QR code and we fill requests within three days, and employers can subsidize prices to make food more affordable for staff.
